While Google's Chrome web bowser has been available for Windows systems for some time now, the Mac version is still under development. You can go to this Google link and sign up to be notified when Chrome for Mac is released for download. While you wait for your email to arrive, did you know you can try out Chrome for Mac right now? Google has been posting daily builds of Chrome for Mac, many times multiple builds per day, at this location. Since Chrome for Mac is still a work in progress, features are being added over time and the product is becoming more stable with each successive build. Instead of manually checking the site and downloading new builds as they become available, the people behind the popular tech blog, TechCrunch have develop a free and very cool utility called Chromium Updater to automatically download and install the latest available build each time you launch Chrome for Mac. The download link is contain in this recent TechCrunch article. I've been using Chromium Updater for about a week now and have been loving every minute. My experience with Chrome for Mac has been so good, it is now my default browser, at least for now. Recently, support for flash has been integrated and has worked flawlessly for me. It is also a very fast browser with web pages loading quickly. I'm able to keep many tabs open simultaneously without crashing, something I cannot say about Firefox 3.5.
